Lily under Bridal Veil Falls, 2009

With just two weeks until the "big day," Lily, Uwharrie and I made our way to DuPont State Forest to join Adam and thirty other folks for the annual Waterfall Bonanza. This run is really a great way to beat the heat. This year however, the refreshing creek plunges weren't so much needed with the continuous rain. Still, it was better than ever, especially with the wonderful post-run party at the Foxworth chateau. Thanks Terry!

I'm very proud of Lily for logging her first ten-mile run. Hmm, how much farther is she willing to go? Thanks to everybody for the fun this past Saturday. Finally, a belated thanks to Anne and Will for the recent SB6K article in BRO.

Matt,

I don't have your email addy with me at work, so I thought this might be the best way to tell you that Suzanne, Evan and I are bringing a veggie lasagna to the pot luck.

Looking forward to seeing you guys Saturday morning if not Friday evening. Is there any social activity planned for Friday eve?
