What: an ~11 km corridor orienteering loop in Eno River State Park between Cole Mill and Guess Road with optional ford at tip of Fish Dam Island to shorten it to an east and west loop, ~5.5 km each.
Where: parking, start/finish at 36°04.141', -78°57.308' cul-de-sac at the end of Sterling Dr. This is nearby Fish Dam Island in case you run out of time/energy, want to get wet, or make it a figure-8.
Who: open to anyone, abide by park hours and regulations.
When: Go when you please mid-May to mid-July.
How: print map (linked above). Meridians are 300 m and contours 2.5 m. Only the corridor (~75 m width) is mapped. Try to complete loop(s) quickly with minimal time spent off map.
